The Novant Health Director of Digital Demand & Insights is responsible for development and oversight of marketing strategies, working collaboratively across departments to ensure all activities are impactful.

The Director leads three sub-teams: Consumer Relationship Management, Digital Growth, and Research & Insights. These teams operate across marketing to deliver centralized expertise & project execution.

The Director partners with corporate departments and teams across Novant Health to uncover opportunities, deliver strategic guidance, and execute marketing activity. The Director analyzes market trends and opportunities, develops comprehensive marketing plans and oversees/implements strategic and tactical objectives. The Director collaborates with various internal partners and external agencies to build positive, collaborative relationships that thrive to deliver results. The Director applies expertise in marketing strategy, functions in a consultative leadership capacity to cross-functional partners and executes a wide-range of marketing activity both large and small.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Health Administration or related field, required. MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum ten (10) years brand/advertising experience, required. Minimum three (3) years of people management, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Demonstrated understanding of CRM including best practices
    • Demonstrated understanding of digital media, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Paid Social media, Programmatic, and more
    • Experience leading or partnering with research & insights teams
    • Effective management and communication skills; both oral and written
    • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    • Demonstrated success in developing and optimizing B2C digital marketing strategy and creative execution
    • Experience working collaboratively both across marketing/communications functions as well as with cross-functional partners
    • Ability to work flexibly and strategically within a dynamic environment, including managing their team with clear vision and prioritization
  • Additional Skills (preferred):
    • Strategic focus, with hands on experience delivering effective marketing programs
    • Strong analytical skills and management of data and KPIs
    • Proven managerial skills with demonstrated people success stories
