About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Paid Social Media Senior Lead to join our dynamic marketing team and drive best-in-class social advertising strategies across major platforms.

This is a new role within the Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) Marketing organization, responsible for driving new customers and balance growth profitably and influencing Generative AI outcomes. You will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns that deliver measurable business impact and influences Gen AI outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns align with brand objectives, audience insights, and performance goals.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop data-informed social strategies grounded in objectives, audience, channel, and marketplace insights
  • Assess and integrate current customer trends across social digital channels to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Define clear media strategy briefs, including campaign parameters, audience and channel strategies, testing and learning agendas
  • Analyze performance, historical learnings, and business needs to optimize strategies and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate seamlessly with creative teams, advocating for the brand and influencer voices to deliver content that is authentic, differentiated and strategically sound.
  • Act as a subject-matter-expert, incorporating industry innovation and best practice

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of expertise in developing and executing social strategies that drive measurable business impact.
  • Proven experience leading social media within a media COE in-house team (client side) or at a reputable media agency with industry leading clients.
  • Demonstrated experience working within highly regulated environments – such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other compliance-driven sectors -with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance standards, and risk-mitigation practices.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance data to inform business decisions, acquire new customers, and balance growth through optimized media strategies.
  • Highly collaborative leader with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments, demonstrating agility and strong decision-making skills.
  • Skilled in developing strategic roadmaps that deliver innovative solutions, with a focus on leveraging emerging technologies such as AI.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range

$139,000.00 – $217,000.00

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
