Tattoo Projects is looking for a Social Media Specialist & Community Manager to join our growing team of social-first thinkers, makers, and trend-obsessed creatives.

You should be equal parts strategic and scrappy – someone who lives in the comments, lives for the scroll, and thrives in fast-moving feeds. From Instagram and TikTok to LinkedIn and beyond, you’ll help bring brand voices to life, build communities, and collaborate with our internal teams to shape what our client brands say and how they say it online.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who doesn’t just follow trends—they help brands show up in them.

To be part of our social team, you must be obsessed with social channels, a curious copywriter, and a publishing platform junkie. If TikTok gives you thrills and carefully curated Instagram feeds leave you visibly electric, this is the team for you.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for building and engaging with users across various industries and channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The ideal is a motivated self-starter with a hands-on demeanor, eagerness to learn, and not interested in just following trends – you want to create them. More specifically you’ll get to:

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day publishing of editorial content and creative campaigns.
  • Monitor engagements on various social media platforms to cultivate conversations and engagement through on-the-pulse community management.
  • Work directly with our strategy, creative, and production teams to ideate and brief on engaging content trends to charge organic social activations.
  • Research the latest social tools, platforms, and trends – and work to ensure our client brands are the first to innovate and experiment with.
  • Monitor competitive industry activities via social listening platforms to surface relevant insights and opportunities.
  • Deliver reports, performance tracking, and trend analysis to the team, and clients, as needed.
  • Remain culturally attuned and constantly challenging the team and our clients with new opportunities for innovation across their industry and the social space.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working within an agency.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience with social media content creation, and/or, as a community manager on behalf of a company/brand, to lead community conversations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you should speak the language of the internet and be able to navigate brand voices as quickly as what’s trending on TikTok.
  • Can build and maintain influencer programs and collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to identify + track relevant KPIs to demonstrate the value social media can offer brands.
  • An eye for creative content: both written and visual and knowledge of social media formats; if you know your Reels from your TikToks, this job is for you.
  • A self-starter: Excellent organizational, time management & people management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details.
  • Proficiency in using a wide variety of social platforms and tools that are used to drive efficiency within the accounts we manage.
  • Eager to work alongside creative teams and account executives.
  • Appreciate that social isn’t a 9-5 job.

BENEFITS:

  • 401k
  • Flex schedule (2 WFH days/week)
  • Over 35 days of PTO starting Day 1 (5 Sick Days, 10 Vacation Days, 2 Community Service Days, Summer Break, Winter Break, Federal Holidays)
  • 100% Paid Healthcare + Vision + Dental
  • Paid Disability + Life Insurance
  • Paid Maternity + Paternity Leave
  • Paid Professional Development Courses
  • Dog-friendly Office
  • Uptown CLT Parking
  • Bagel Breakfast Fridays
