Goal of This Role:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating and scaling HR strategies and programs to support Lucid Bots’ rapid growth. This position is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring that every Lucidian thrives in a high-performance, people-first workplace.

This role offers the opportunity to define and implement HR programs from scratch, contribute to organizational strategy, and directly impact the culture and success of Lucid Bots.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement HR policies, programs, and processes to support a growing team, including training, compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to define and execute workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture through programs and initiatives aligned with our values.
  • Serve as a key advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) across all HR practices.
  • Design, implement, and manage company-wide performance review processes to align individual contributions with organizational goals and foster professional development.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations across domestic and international locations.
  • Manage and continuously improve employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings that support employee well-being.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, addressing and resolving HR-related concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement talent development and retention strategies, including performance management and career progression.
  • Collaborate with leadership to roll out OKRs and align individual goals with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with COBRA requirements for departing employees, including timely communication and administration of benefits continuation.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a strategic and operational HR role, preferably in a startup or fast-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks seamlessly with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Emotional maturity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, think critically, and act resourcefully in high-pressure situations.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, ideally Rippling.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to the demands of a dynamic startup environment.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including workforce management and workers’ compensation.
