Investment Analyst

CreativeCo, based in Charlotte NC, is a growth platform for early stage B2B software companies, providing equity capital and operational acceleration capabilities to fast growing and highly capital efficient founders. Since its formation in 2020, CreativeCo has invested in over 40 companies across the US and is now investing from its third early growth equity focused fund. We leverage our expertise, resources, and network to help our portfolio companies to innovate and achieve growth. Role Overview:

Big focus on sourcing, due-diligence, and getting things done. We are looking for a motivated Investment Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for identifying investment opportunities that align with our growth-oriented mission. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early growth equity investing and work closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and leverage data resources to identify potential investment opportunities. Research includes interacting with management teams to identify trends and software companies of interest.
• Identify and Source: Develop tools and use automation to find deal opportunities that can be a fit for our target investment.
• Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process by gathering and evaluating data, assessing risks, and preparing reports on potential investments.
• Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking portfolio performance, providing insights, and identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a high-growth startup.
• Technical Skills: Experience and curiosity with using AI tools and manipulating data to create automated processes.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a small, entrepreneurial team environment.
