This role is based in Charlotte, NC (South End). We are in office 3-4 days a week.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Front-End Engineer who will join a small and growing team. You’ll work directly with the founders to shape the product, not just build it. With no dedicated designer, you’ll take ambiguous problems, prototype solutions, put them in front of users at financial institutions, and iterate until they work.

The core challenge is making something complex feel simple. Our product surfaces LLM and knowledge graph outputs to people at banks who need to trust what they’re seeing. How that information is presented is a big part of whether the product works at all.

You will:

• Own features end to end: scoping, design, prototyping, building, and refining based on real usage
• Define the look, feel, and interaction patterns of the product, and the design system behind them
• Design interfaces that make AI-generated insights clear, explorable, and trustworthy
• Talk to customers and help decide what we build next

About You

• 4+ years building production frontends, including features you led from idea to launch
• Strong in TypeScript and React, with high standards for correctness, performance, and testing
• You have taste, and can show it. Send us things you’ve designed and built.
• Comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll figure out what’s missing and learn it rather than wait for a spec.
• Curious about how complex organizations actually work, and about how people should interact with AI
• You want to be early. You’re excited about building a company, and a role that grows as the company does.
• Bonus: experience building AI/LLM-powered products

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $150K–$200K annually + equity
