We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Director to lead our team and drive the success of our practice.
Job Summary:
The Practice Director will oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions of our surgical practice. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and an interest in healthcare management.
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, foster a positive workplace culture, and support our commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the practice, including staff management, scheduling, and workflow optimization for 12-15 employees.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, billing, coding, and revenue cycle management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, AAAA, and state/federal guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physicians and team to maintain a high standard of clinical and administrative excellence.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for all non-physician staff.
- Oversee patient relations, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Drive practice growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and community outreach.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage supply chain needs for the office.
- Utilize EHR systems and practice management software to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a surgical or specialty practice.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of 10+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and practice management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Experience in strategic planning and business development is a plus.
