The Opportunity
The Manager of Corporate Hospitality & Events will work directly with the Director of Corporate Hospitality managing event execution and guest experience, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service across Ally’s marketing events, tradeshow and hospitality functions.
This role manages event logistics, staff, vendor relationships and guest services. Focus areas include, but are not limited to motorsports, soccer, golf, women’s sports, key lifestyle, entertainment and local/community events. Manager of Corporate Hospitality and Events must have a wide knowledge of the sports and entertainment landscape and exhibit a strong talent for event planning and onsite activation operations / hosting ability.
Must be able to manage agile direct and in-direct reports effectively, work well with a variety of business partners, establish strong relationships with Sr. Leadership and brand partners, be detail-oriented and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
In office role with hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC.
The Work Itself
- Manage the coordination and execution of all live events and applicable sponsorship activations, including logistics, staffing, vendor management, and hospitality services
- Serve as a primary point of contact with day-to-day internal team and agency partners throughout the event lifecycle
- Monitor budgets and expenses and maximize return through effective cost management
- Help to ensure policies, procedures and best practices are being followed for event and hospitality operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver a cohesive and world class experience
- Monitor and evaluate event success, guest feedback, and operational effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ability to function as client representative and host at applicable onsite events
- Ensure adherence of governance approval process, budget and supplier ownership oversight, supply accurate forecasting
The Skills You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience planning and executing hospitality events required
- Event planning experience must include sports and entertainment programs required
- Agency experience preferred
- Proven leadership skills with experience in onsite experiential and event coordination / activation
- Experience managing project budgets
- Experience managing direct or indirect reports
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and key social media sites
- Strong industry relationships and ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal and external partners
- Strong executive management skills in terms of presence, expectations, information and decision making
- Emotionally intelligent, demonstrates good judgement and inhibits an inclusive mindset
- Prioritizes and delegates workload effectively to meet deadlines for a variety of marketing deliverables
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for project execution
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to provide clear direction and speak intelligently on key related topics
- Travel required – including weekends

Base Pay Range:
$90,000 – $125,000 USD
An individual’s position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
