As one of our first hires, you’ll help mature our entire tech stack – working at the intersection of AI, content, and data to build disruptive new business models.

The Role

This is not a narrow job. You’ll be our Founding Data Engineer, rolling up your sleeves across projects, solving problems in real time, and owning deliverables end to end.

You will:

• Build Python + SQL pipelines to turn messy datasets into structured outputs.
• Publish data into HTML + CSS formats for SEO deployment.
• Maintain and evolve our core AI infrastructure, keeping it on the cutting edge.
• Translate business problems into workflows and explain deliverables to clients.
• Collaborate directly with founders and contribute to a fast-moving startup environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Ability to publish clean outputs in HTML + CSS.
• High ownership and autonomy – you move projects forward without hand-holding.
• Positive, resourceful, and energized by solving problems in ambiguity.
• Strong communicator, comfortable with clients.
• Based in Charlotte and able to work in-person 4+ days/week.

Nice-to-Haves: cloud or BI tools (Azure, Power BI, etc.), SEO exposure, startup or consulting experience.What Success Looks Like

This isn’t a spectator role. In your first 30 days, you’ll ship a full pipeline — from ingestion to published output — and see it live on a client site. At A2, impact happens in weeks, not months.What You’ll Get
