Position details:

Myers Park Country Club (MPCC), a premier, family-focused, member-owned club in the heart of Charlotte, NC, seeks a hospitality-forward, visible, and strategic General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead its team and vibrant membership through a pivotal chapter of growth and evolution.

The next GM/COO will inherit a financially strong organization with newly renovated facilities, a high-performing team, and a thriving membership base—and will be tasked with sustaining operational excellence while executing major capital projects and elevating the member experience.

Candidate experience:

The ideal Chief Operating Officer for Myers Park Country Club is a warm, strategic, and approachable leader with a successful track record in private club or high-end hospitality management. This individual is a strong communicator, trusted relationship builder, and collaborative partner to the Board and committees.

They bring sharp business acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to lead a complex, multi-faceted club. With a clear understanding of golf, racquets, aquatics, wellness, and dining operations, they ensure excellence across all touchpoints while advancing long-term strategic goals—including a major golf course renovation.

This candidate leads with humility, authenticity, and a steady hand—empowering a high-performing executive team and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Culturally aware and attuned to the needs of a multi-generational membership, they will uphold Myers Park’s traditions while introducing thoughtful innovations that reflect the evolving expectations of today’s private club environment.

A Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation is preferred but not required.
