Krispy Kreme’s Senior Director, Strategic Program Management is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and programs that align with Krispy Kreme’s key priorities. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and project managers across the organization to drive our growth and success. The Strategic Program Manager will need to have a bias for action, be comfortable with ambiguity and have an inherent ability to synthesize disparate inputs into actionable solutions that drive accountability and results.
A taste of what you will be doing:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the process for projects/programs identified as global priorities.
- Partner with functional/market PM’s to ensure there are clear well defined project plans, timelines, and budgets for Krispy Kreme’s key programs.
- Monitor and track progress of strategic programs, providing regular updates to leadership and making adjustments as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work across the PM community of practice to create a consistent way of approaching project management processes, including building and implementing standard business case templates, governance processes, and project execution playbooks.
- Coordinate across functions/markets to ensure alignment and integration of global programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to gather input and drive decision-making.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with global project to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with business cases, scope, schedule, and expected benefits.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Krispy Kreme.
- Partner with the CEO and GLT to ensure focus and delivery on priorities.
Your recipe for success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a global context.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and resources.
- Proficiency in business intelligence solutions and data analysis.
- Strong ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner
- Ability to think and pivot between strategic and tactical actions; persistent attention to detail, and ability to lead and flourish through ambiguity
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
