Manager, Corporate Communications

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Manager, Corporate Communications to join our growing team.

The Role

Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with the Global Communications Strategy to support enterprise objectives and initiatives.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the JELD-WEN organization by providing general executive communications support, strategic communications planning and operational communications management.
• Drive assigned Communications objectives, specifically the Strategic Priorities (Objectives and Key Results). Partner with the Communications leadership team to drive awareness and effective progress of initiative outcome(s).
• Lead and manage Corporate communications support, such as global town halls, leadership calls, quarterly earnings announcements, employee engagement campaigns (i.e. strategy rollout), etc. Serve as project manager with oversight of event logistics, content and technical workstreams.
• Responsible for the development and execution of the Corporate Internal Communications content (portal, newsletter, etc.) and the editorial calendar, including editorial management to align across the Communications Function driving high-level communication planning and support.
• Lead the channel strategy for Internal Communications – defining key tools, metrics and corresponding governance.
• Provide exceptional written and verbal skills for communication-related projects or work as otherwise assigned.
• Utilize metrics to make informed decisions focused on enhancing the regional communications strategy.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Global experience preferred.
• Superior written, editorial and presentation skills.
• Ability to work influence across boundaries in matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated process orientation/capability.
• Critical thinker capable of synthesizing complex ideas and creating audience-relevant communications.
• Self-starter comfortable working independently and in collaboration with others toward shared goals and objectives.
• Ability to develop strong relationship at all levels of the organization and across functions.
• The ability to listen, work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Project management skills.
• Proficient user of the collective Microsoft suite required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or other related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Communications experience required.

Expected pay for this role is between $93,800.00 to $156,400.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
