Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

HM Studio is a holistic creative and communications agency specializing in sustainable, design-minded lifestyle and hospitality brands. We live at the intersection of art and ecommerce working with our clients to create thoughtful narratives, realized through creative direction and design, strategic partnerships, and media/influencer relations.

HM Studio has established itself as a leader in the lifestyle space, integrating this strength with a proven ability to provide strategic counsel and marketing campaigns for its clients.

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team.   

Key Responsbilities:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and team to develop visual concepts, layouts, and design systems across digital and print applications
• Design and produce assets for websites, e-commerce platforms, marketing campaigns, and client presentations
• Create social media graphics and assets for product launches, editorial features, and brand storytelling
• Maintain clear, professional day-to-day communication with internal team members, clients, and external partners
• Execute designs using industry-standard tools, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and creative direction
• Apply strong design fundamentals — including typography, color theory, composition, and hierarchy — across all deliverables
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of craftsmanship
• Ensure all assets are optimized for their intended platforms and meet quality and performance standards
• Adapt to project-specific needs, including light motion graphics, video editing, or web-based design work as required

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within an agency or studio environment
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities with confidence
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with evolving timelines and client needs
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and basic video tools
• Working knowledge of Shopify is required; WordPress and Squarespace experience is a plus
• Familiarity with social media platforms and designing for Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
• Collaborative, goal-oriented team player with a proactive mindset
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• BA/BS in Graphic Design or a related field
