Crown Town Landscapes is an all-electric lawn and landscaping company committed to creating beautiful and sustainable outdoor spaces. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Designer to join our team and contribute to the success of our design and installation projects.

The Designer role is crucial for ensuring landscape projects transition seamlessly from concept to completion.

This position supports the Lead Designer and Production Manager by maintaining high design standards, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional client experiences throughout the project lifecycle.

This role directly impacts project efficiency, client satisfaction, and the overall success of the design and installation teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create innovative landscape designs aligned with client needs and the company’s vision.
  • Stay current on design trends, new materials, and industry best practices to enhance creativity and innovation.
  • Assist in creating Crown Town Landscapes design “guardrails” and ensure that all designs evolve within these parameters.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of project plans.
  • Conduct site assessments to inform design decisions and project planning.
  • Manage and update plant lists, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project needs.
  • Research and confirm plant inventory availability to support project timelines and design requirements.
  • Maintain organization of design files and ensure proper archiving for future reference.
  • Assist in the procurement of plant orders, hardscape materials, and specialty items.
  • Review and reconcile plant orders against finalized designs to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain supplier catalog and actively looking for new suppliers.
  • Coordinate with vendors to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and pricing. Track order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of materials to the installation sites.
  • Communicate with installation teams to ensure they have the correct design plans and material lists.
  • Assist in organizing installation schedules based on material availability and crew availability.
  • Follow up on-site to ensure installations are progressing according to the design plan.
  • Manage warranty orders for plants and materials that require replacements.
  • Coordinate replacement installations, ensuring plants/materials meet original design specifications, working with clients as needed.
  • Track and document warranty claims, keeping records for future reference.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling design meetings, managing emails, and maintaining design calendars.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Lead Designer as needed, such as research for new plants, materials, or design trends.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape design, preferably within the landscaping industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in design software (e.g., Morpholio, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of landscaping materials, plants, and construction techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and landscape plans.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmentally friendly landscaping practices.

Pay:
