PR Representative

Join our team filling the integral role on our staff as the PR Representative. This is a critical role and requires someone who has previous PR experience, agency experience preferred. He/she should be thoughtful, results-driven, and detail-oriented.

This person will have at least one year of experience with PR strategy, media relations, media writing and should be a serious follower-upper. This person will interface with our team, the media and our clients, owning their work and delivering great results.

Responsibilities:

Serving as PR/account lead for clients, managing multiple campaigns at the same time
Work with clients and strategic PR partners
Build media lists and foster new and ongoing relationships
Writing pitches and press releases
Outreach to partners, potential media, other
Support influencer work that often overlaps with pr campaigns

Requirements:

Past PR experience and success with local, regional and national press placements
A bold and positive/upbeat personality
Ability to join and lead meetings, support clients, assert expertise
Understanding of new brand/location openings, product launches, brand building PR
Extreme attention to detail and capacity in managing time and projects with many moving parts and timelines
Passion for communications, journalism, storytelling, hustle
An understanding of trends, campaigns, timeliness and audience/cultural sensitivity
Excellent creative and professional writing skills
Must be highly professional, organized, efficient and accountable
Takes initiative to understand and contribute to the achievement of company goals and strategies
A strong work ethic, high intellectual curiosity
Possess strong and always positive communication skills across all channels (written, face-to-face, via email, instant messaging or phone)
