The Senior Account Lead is a central force within the agency, spearheading strategic and operational efforts across client work ranging in scope and scale. They guide both client relationships and internal workflows, ensuring the delivery of smart, high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This person is energetic, curious, and ambitious—equally comfortable setting a strategic vision while diving into the details to keep things moving. Whether mapping out campaign plans or building a schedule, the Senior Account Lead sets the tone for internal and external collaboration, clarity, and momentum across every touchpoint.
About the role:
- Create positive, collaborative, trusting environments, building and strengthening relationships with clients and within the agency, as well as between clients and the agency
- Drive strategy and process with and for each client, in close collaboration with internal teams
- Develop strong project briefs and brief strongly, inspiring and empowering teams to seize challenges and solve problems
- Own project execution from kickoff to delivery—ensuring work stays on budget, on strategy, and on schedule while managing scopes, billing, and internal processes
- Deeply understand each client’s business and industry to exceed expectations and anticipate needs, leading teams to deliver results-driven work that advances client goals and strengthens Mode’s approach
- Partner closely with internal resources and team members to understand, manage, and integrate your projects into the overall agency workflow by communicating needs proactively and effectively
- Manage, forecast, and track project schedules through their life cycles while keeping full studio resources and deadlines in mind
- Communicate client feedback and assign actionable items to the internal team while anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and communicating deadlines to keep projects moving forward
- Manage vendor resources from research and onboarding through execution, building and maintaining strong partner relationships while integrating vendors into internal workflows and client engagements as needed
About you:
- 5-8 years of direct agency-level experience managing large-scale, complex digital campaigns and strategic projects across industries
- Well-versed in agency process and organization
- Strong, solutions-oriented leader, communicator, and connector
- Knowledgeable and educated in the digital landscape (organic social, paid media, websites, etc.); influencer management and content production experience are a bonus
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and empathetic team player
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple clients, projects, and timelines
- Exemplary in professionalism and poise
- Courageous with questions to drive better outcomes
- Professional, polished, and composed under pressure
- Adaptable and deliberate in approach to work and relationships
