Huntington is seeking a Director of Sports and Partnership Communications to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that help elevate Huntington’s presence on a national scale, with a particular focus on public relations efforts in support of large-scale sponsorships.
This role will work in close collaboration with leaders across the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to develop consistent and impactful messaging and amplify company storytelling.
The Director of Sports and Partnership Communications will play a pivotal role in supporting major national sponsorships, including Huntington’s recently launched national golf platform and major partnerships in collegiate and professional football.
This individual will develop and execute the communications strategy for these sponsorships, ensuring alignment with company priorities and maximizing visibility across all relevant channels, including media relations, social media, and employee communications.
The ideal candidate will bring significant public relations experience and a proven track record of successfully managing communications in support of major partnerships for a large public company.
The Director will lead a small internal team of communications experts, as well as oversee agency resources to ensure the effective and timely execution of large-scale projects.

Compensation Range:
$125,000-$255,000 annually
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
