Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven District Sales Representative to grow Gleezy Dog’s footprint across NC, SC, and FL. This role is ideal for a self-starter with 1–2 years of sales experience in foodservice, CPG, beverage, or hospitality who thrives on prospecting, relationship-building, and closing new business.
As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll manage your own schedule, develop your territory, and earn upside through performance-based bonuses tied directly to cases sold.
Territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas
Reports to: Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Drive new account acquisition and revenue growth within the assigned territory (restaurants, clubs, bars, breweries, golf courses, and foodservice operators)
- Proactively prospect and cold call to open new accounts and expand distribution
- Present and sell Gleezy Dog products (hot dogs, sauces, and related items) to operators, buyers, and distributors
- Conduct product demos, tastings, and menu placements to drive trial and adoption
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, follow-ups, and professional communication
- Accurately track pipeline activity, forecast sales, and submit weekly reports
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, promotions, and logistics
- Attend trade shows, food events, and tastings as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Proven sales experience (foodservice, CPG, restaurant, beverage, or hospitality preferred)
- Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and opening new accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
- Ability to independently manage a multi-state territory
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, or hospitality groups in NC, SC, or TX
- Experience managing and working with national food accounts
- Familiarity with broadline distributor-driven sales models
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Pay: $40,000/year – $70,000/year including commissions (1099 contractor)
- Bonus: Performance-based incentives tied to cases sold and revenue targets
- Upside: Opportunity for additional incentives, expanded territories, or future leadership roles
