Operations Manager

At Gleezy, we are seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity. This person will be highly skilled in finance, inventory, warehousing, transportation and production planning.

Given Gleezy is a rapidly growing startup, the Ops Manager must be willing to take on all tasks and be deeply involved with the leadership team and business partners.

Objectives of this role

Maintain constant communication with Gleezy leadership, co-packers and logistics partners
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
Oversee all purchase orders and production schedules

Responsibilities

Own all PO’s from customers
Ensure production schedule allows for on time delivery to customers
Partner with warehousing and transportation partners for pickup and delivery of Gleezy Dogs and Sauce
Assist in R&D of new SKU’s
Maintain all UPC’s, GTINs and Barcodes via GS1
Lead procurement of raw materials and packaging
Oversee materials and inventory
Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

Required skills and qualifications

Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
Strong skills in budget development and oversight
Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes

Preferred skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
Working knowledge of management software programs
Understanding of both P&L and Balance Sheet
