Hello Thursday. Panthers tickets for Saturday's NFC Wild Card playoff game against the Rams range from $169 in the upper level to $1,807 on Row 1 at the 50-yard line.
I’m coaching my 11-year-old son’s church league basketball game, otherwise I’d be there!
Panthers are supposed to get crushed by 10 points, but if they pull off the upset, I’m going to have serious regrets on not being there.
My family sat next to head coach Dave Canales’ family at Superica a few weeks ago. I got scared and didn’t say hello, but I feel like we’d be besties. I think he ordered the chicken fajitas. Anyways.

45-year-old couple Jake and Page doing an Airbnb dance
| |
Location: "Asheville has Airbnb restrictions, so Weaverville was a perfect compromise," Jake told me. "The brewery-to-human ratio doesn't hurt either."
House hunting: Jake and Page had been casually looking for a few years before landing on this fixer-upper. "We used Airbnb calculators AirDNA and Rabbu to run rough projections."
Renovation: They're investing roughly $60K into the home, transforming it from a 3bd/1.5ba to a 5bd/2.5ba.
Mortgage: "I work in mortgage, so I've been close to the increased buzz around ARMs," explained Jake, the CMO of Movement Mortgage.
Secret weapon: "We'll be leveraging social media in a big way to drive booking interest in the house," shared Jake, who has 16K followers on Instagram. His wife Page is twice as cool with 32K followers.

Money Talks is a weekly series showcasing how real people in Charlotte approach money. Participate.
Living situation: “I own my primary house that I also use as an Airbnb. I rent it from myself at fair market value (tax benefits, etc.). I’m divorced and have a young child.”
Job: “Real estate. I manage nearly 50 Airbnbs across the Carolinas, and I own a handful of them. All in, I make roughly $350K a year.”
Side hustle: “I'm a content creator and generate $200 per month across social media platforms. Not a lot, but it's growing.”
Best expense: “My BMW X7. I love it. It’s $1,400/mo, but I’m a car nut. Women love a good car in Charlotte, even though it might sound shallow, it's true.”
Net worth: “Nearly $4M if you include property equity and business. Obviously, that isn’t cash on hand.”
Rich in Charlotte: “Members at Quail or Charlotte. The other country clubs simply aren’t worth the bang for their buck. I'd love to join.”
Knowledge: “Self-taught. I started college at UNC Charlotte, which has been a big boost for me, but I didn't finish. Any day you can go from worst to first. It just takes commitment.”
